Love INC - Love In The Name of Christ
The mission of Love INC is to link the poor, elderly or disabled who have unmet needs to churches and church
members willing to meet those needs in such a way that both will be blessed.
A sweet couple lives near the Oak Grove Church and is looking to Love INC and the members of Oak Grove Methodist for assistance.
The couple consists of a wife, age 83, and her caregiver and husband, age 77. The have limited family support and are excellent
candidates for an Adopt an Elder Program LINC Team. The couple would find it most helpful to receive any or all of the following:

Visitation
-
Periodic meals
-
House cleaning (1-2X/month)
-
Telephone visitation
-
Respite to allow husband to run errands
-
Possible lawn maintenance (has lawnmower)
Altar Flowers
We have changed the format for providing flowers to be placed on the altar on specific Sundays.
There is still a "Flower Calendar," but it is now located on the bulletin board next to the office door. If the date you desire
is open, please write your name on the calendar on that Sunday and make sure to call Nancy in the office and let her know the
particulars such as insert for the bulletin.
We have been using Grace's Florist on West Sugar Creek Road because they know the set up of the church and will deliver flowers on Saturdays.
If you would like to order flowers from Grace's Florist, their number is (704) 596-5332. Although we have an account there, it is
preferred that your flowers be put on your credit card, alleviating extra paper work.
